Christmas Day

Christmas day was filled with lots of yummy food and fun times with family. We started the morning off at home where Braylon opened his gifts from Santa, and mommy and daddy. No pictures of that though; only video.

We headed over to Aunt Christina and Uncle Dave’s house at 11:00am for Christmas Brunch. Grandpa was so excited about Braylon’s gift that he couldn’t wait longer than five minutes from our arrival to give it to him. He and Grandma Mel adopted a baby elephant in Braylon’s name. The elephant’s name is Sinya. She is female and lives in a wildlife sanctuary in Kenya Africa. She was discovered early morning on September 14th trapped in a well. The young boys who found her, alerted the Kenyan Wildlife Service who rescued the elephant midday that day. She was eight months old when they rescued her. Braylon is now her foster parent and will receive updates throughout the year of her progress along with pictures of her and other elephants she is growing up with.

Braylon had fun opening his other gifts. Aunt Christina tricked Santa into coming to her house too, so Braylon got a stocking filled by Santa there too. Great thinking Aunt Christina!

Braylon had such a fun time. He played with his new toys from Uncle Dave and Aunt Christina.

He played with mommy.

He read his new book with daddy and tried on his favorite accessory; daddy’s sunglasses.

He played with Leo of course.

He hung out with Uncle Jeff and Uncle Brandon.

And he played in Santa’s goodie bag with Grandpa.

Christmas morning was so much fun!
