This summer we took Braylon to the Wildlife Experience with his Grandma Lois. She didn't want to get in front of the camera so we don't have her in any of the pics, but Braylon had a really great day there with her. We initially thought it was a safari-like zoo, but in actuality it is a museum. So there weren't any real animals (accept in the aquarium)which was a little dissapointing at first, but the museum is very cool. It has all kinds of stuff for learning about different animals of the world and we will definitely take Braylon back when he is older. The animals that are there are very life-like. Since they are stuffed, Braylon was able to see them very close up which was pretty neat; he got a kick out of it.Below are some highlights of the day. Braylon especially loved playing in the fake grass, trying on the scuba diving flippers, playing on the boat, crossing the bridge, and drinking from the water fountain. But I think his absolute favorite, was chasing the fishies in the aquarium area. There was this camera in the ceiling, aimed at the floor, that had a motion sensor in it. Fish would swim out into the middle of the area and if they saw little feet coming toward them they would swim away. It was really cool; Braylon had a blast chasing them - check it out in the video.
